Project License - Single
By purchasing or downloading content from Northpix, the Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms of this Project License. This license applies to all content purchased or downloaded from Northpix.
License Grant
The Licensee receives a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual and royalty-free license to use the purchased material (video or image).
The material may be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes within the Licensee’s own business or on behalf of one end client, for one specific project only. The license may not be transferred to additional clients or legal entities.
A project is defined as a single identifiable end production or campaign for one client or legal entity. Adaptations, cutdowns, localized versions and format variations of the same production are permitted, provided the overall use remains substantially the same.
A new license is required for each additional project, client or legal entity.
Permitted uses include websites, marketing and advertising, social media, presentations, printed materials, corporate communications and digital publications.
The material may not be used in any way where it constitutes the primary value of a product or where the material itself is being distributed, whether modified or unmodified.
Restrictions
The material may not be resold, sublicensed, shared or redistributed as standalone files. Standalone means the file is not part of a larger work and can be extracted or reused independently.
The material may not be made available for download by third parties.
The material may not be used as part of any stock library, template library or competing service, including but not limited to website templates, design templates or digital products where the material can be extracted or reused.
The material may not be used for machine learning, artificial intelligence training, dataset creation, model fine-tuning or any automated content generation systems without explicit written permission from Northpix.
The material may not be used in logos, trademarks or other exclusive brand identifiers.
The material may not be used in a way that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory or that suggests endorsement by any person appearing in the content.
Duration
The license is perpetual and has no time limitation for the approved project.
Royalty-Free
No recurring royalties or additional usage fees apply within the scope of this license.
Ownership
All copyright and intellectual property rights remain with the creator and/or Northpix. The Licensee receives a license to use the material in accordance with these terms.
Model and Property Releases
Unless explicitly stated on the asset page, no model or property releases are provided. The Licensee is responsible for determining whether additional permissions are required for their intended use.
Warranty Disclaimer
The material is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
Northpix shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the material. In all cases, total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the material.
Termination
Any breach of this license automatically terminates the Licensee’s rights under this agreement.
Project License - Unlimited
By purchasing or downloading content from Northpix, the Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms of this Unlimited Project License. This license applies to all content purchased or downloaded from Northpix.
